From frustration to reality
The house purchase
Malin Skölde and Martin Tannerfors buy a house in Edsviken that turns out to have several hidden defects and incorrect statements in the contract. Everything from radon, geothermal heating, roof, and energy.
Grundandet
Founded in 2020 as a thesis and idea. We had to solve this problem. Jens Falkenå joined the work. The initial focus was to solve challenges for private buyers facing the same issues.
Shift to commercial real estate
The year of the pivot from private homes to commercial properties. The commercial real estate market had greater transparency challenges and more complex data needs. Our CTO Joris Cizikas joined the company to lead the technical transformation.
Launch & Key Team Members
We launched the platform. Stefan Hök and Joel Karlsson joined the journey.
Property CRM & Growth
We launched the first version of the property CRM and the lease map. This is a unique way to manage properties in different processes and phases. It is actively used by our customers. We grew to 9 people: Filip, Catherine, and Violeta joined the team.
Risk & Environment Launch
We launched Risk & Environment with Atrax Energi & Miljö. This maps risks related to climate, environmental, and social factors. We launched with data from Newsec. Malin Reidarsson, tech lead Elin Lémon, and Eric Olsson joined.
Growth & 200 Customers
Sebastian Roos joined us. We launched data from Forum Fastighetsekonomi and exceeded 200 customers. Ola Askheim and Ellinor Blomqvist joined the team.
Kliva Rebranding & AI Launch
We changed our name to Kliva to launch with a unified international brand. New AI and Single Source of Truth were launched. Focus was on ensuring core data is updated within 24–48 hours. Minna Olsson and Eric Andersson joined the team.
400 Customers & Byggfakta
We exceeded 400 customers and launched project data from Byggfakta/Hubexo. Jessica Aresköld and Amos Larinkoski joined the team.
Finland Launch & Project Development
We launched in Finland. Pilot phase of early-stage development with building rights, projects, virtual properties, and more for architects, construction companies, and project developers. Axel Vikström and Mathilda Christiansson joined the team.
